Capital: Buenos Aires

The Andes mountains, which border with Chile, are the second highest mountain range in the world. The highest peak Aconcagua, rises to 22,831 feet above sea level, and is the highest mountain outside of Asia.

NKU currently has approximately 2 students from Argentina (Spring 2005).

Argentina is located in Southern South America. It borders the the South Atlantic Ocean, between Chile and Uruguay.

ISU Halloween Party

Annual ISU Halloween Party

Spooky, scary, but a lot of fun! Each year the International Student Union hosts a Halloween Party that attracts lots of people. We highly encourage everyone to show their fun side and come in a costume. For many of the new international students at NKU, it is their first time experiencing Halloween and dressing up. It is always an interesting event with free food, drinks, music, and lots of crazy students :-).

Purple People Bridge

The Purple People Bridge surprises many who first see it due to its bright purple hue, but it is a connection between Newport on the Levee in Kentucky and Downtown Cincinnati in Ohio. It is a bridge solely for people to walk across, and provides a lovely view of the Ohio river.
