What is the ISU Listserv?
The ISU Listserv is a large emailing list that informs students and others about
numerous international activities and upcoming events. Also many important announcements,
especially for international students, are sent via the listserv. Occasionally other
announcements are sent, such as students seeking roommates. You don't have to be an
international student to join it, like all other ISU activities, it is open and encouraged
for everyone to participate that is interested. It is one of the best ways to stay informed
about ISU and other activities at Northern Kentucky University.
Even if you are uninterested in some of the announcements, it is very important that all
international students be on the list with an email address they regularly check. It is
the primary method for informing students about urgent issues, so please make sure you
are getting the emails and reading them regularly.
How do I join the ISU Listserv?
The process to join the ISU Listserv is as simple as sending an email. Send an email to
mailserv@nku.edu, and in the message space, type:
SUBSCRIBE ISU
And then send it. If you don't receive any emails from the ISU Listserv, there might
be several causes. Some email providers may think it is unwanted spam, so first check
your email account to see if the email got misplaced in a spam or junk mail folder. If
applicable, add the email address isu@listserv.nku.edu to your safe list. If you still do not receive
any emails from the listserv, then please contact Adam Widanski (widanskia@nku.edu) who can manually add your email
account, but if you are already added, then please contact your email provider for
further assistance.
