Our Mission Statement

The purpose of the International Student Union (ISU) is to provide the opportunity to all members of the Northern Kentucky community to be familiarized with a great variety of cultures. This organization was developed to help everyone better understand themselves and appreciate the variety of differences in others. ISU's hopes are to help community members in Northern Kentucky to better understand global affairs and world issues. Members of this organization wish to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas and experiences.

ISU is also a forum where international students may express concerns or apprehensions about living in a different culture for extended periods of time in a comfortable setting. Members will do everything in their power to help you find solutions to problems that may arise.

Membership

All enrolled NKU international students are automatically members of ISU. Active members are most appreciated within the organization. Natives of the United State are encouraged to participate in ISU events as well. In fact, ISU welcomes all people into the organization. Membership is completely free for anyone interested. Just come, hang out, and have fun.
