Bosnia takes its name from the Bosna River that runs through it.

NKU currently has approximately 5 students from Bosnia (Spring 2005).

Located in southeastern Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina borders the Adriatic Sea and Croatia.

Labor Day Fireworks

Fireworks are a big part of American culture, and the Labor Day Fireworks on the Ohio River are some of the biggest fireworks to see all year. It is a great experience for many new international students, and the ones this year were all impressed.

SOC Awards

The SOC Awards recognize student organizations and their accomplishments at NKU and in the community over the past year. In 2005, the ISU won the prestigous Merit Award, which is presented to the top ten organizations on campus.
