Bulgarians greatly value education (near 100% literacy rate), the arts and literature and have more than 200 museums in the country.

NKU currently has approximately 6 students from Bulgaria (Spring 2005).

Bulgaria is located in Southeastern Europe, and borders the Black Sea, between Romania and Turkey.

Latino Day

Every year, the ISU and ISA host International Week, which is a week of many events to bring a lot of the cultures of the world to students at NKU. Latino Day featured Salsa dancing lessons, lots of great Latino music, authentic snacks and foods from various countries, jewelry, and a lot more. Several students really enjoyed learning how to [i]Salsa[/i].
